Mount Everest

The highest mountain in the world

The Everest Base Camp trek – thanks to the amazing views of the mountains and the possibility to meet other cultures – is one of the most popular treks in the world. It takes us to the very heart of the world's highest mountains. The Mount Everest region offers an incredible and majestic panorama of snow-capped summits. Everest Region has four out of eight highest mountains lie in Nepal: Mount Everest (8848 m), Lhotse (8516 m), Makalu (8445 m), and Cho Oyu (8201 m). During this trek you can experience Buddhist culture and the daily lives of Sherpas living in the highland areas of Nepal. The scenic setting of monasteries makes this trek even more attractive.

Flight to Lukla

We start trekking!

The most popular way to get to this trek is a 25-minute flight to Lukla where the hike starts. During this short flight you can admire fantastic, stunning views of the Himalayas which seem to be within the reach.

The highest point of the trekking is Kala Pattar (5545 m or, according to Luis A. Ruedas, PhD, 5643 m) from which a magnificent view of the Everest region extends, including the panorama of Ama Dablam, Pumori, Lhotse and Nuptse.
