It takes us to the very heart of the world's highest mountains. The Mount Everest region offers an incredible and majestic panorama of snow-capped summits. Everest Region has four out of eight highest mountains lie in Nepal: Mount Everest (8848 m), Lhotse (8516 m), Makalu (8445 m), and Cho Oyu (8201 m). During this trek you can experience Buddhist culture and the daily lives of Sherpas living in the highland areas of Nepal. The scenic setting of monasteries makes this trek even more attractive. The trip to Everest Base Camp is definitely going to be a life time trip for those who are keen on outdoor adventures. Probably only the Everest Base Camp trek has so many possibility to let you explore into the hidden attractions of Nepal Himalayas. Once you are in trek to Everest Base Camp trip, there are so many places you can take the side trip which offers you great view of Mt. Everest and its surroundings. Minimum of two days acclimatization are recommended while doing the trek to Everest Base Camp. If you have one or two spare days it would be even more feasible to reach your goal to Everest Base Camp because for some people need a bit more acclimatization time which we never know how our body will react on the gaining altitude. Usually two weeks of time is enough for Everest Base Camp trek but to be more safe with the delays in flight, need of some spare day for acclimatization and doing some sightseeing in Kathmandu better is to have about 19-21 days of your holiday for the Everest Base Camp trek
Flight to Lukla
We start trekking!
The most popular way to get to Everest Base Camp trek is a 25-minute flight to Lukla where the hike starts and ends. During this short flight you can admire fantastic, stunning views of the Himalayas which seem to be within the reach. There is also another few ways to reach to Everest Base Camp taking the drive to Jiri or Phaplu which need about 26 days of time while taking one way by drive to Jiri for the start of the Everest Base Camp trek and finish the trek in Lukla. The highest point of the trekking is Kala Pattar (5545 m or, according to Luis A. Ruedas, PhD, 5643 m) from which a magnificent view of the Everest region extends, including the panorama of Ama Dablam, Pumori, Lhotse and Nuptse.

A trekking plan
TREK ROUTE PLAN
Arrival in Kathmandu
(1350 m), pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel, welcome dinner and trip briefing in the evening,as soon as the immigration formalities are done and luggage is being received, pass through the arrival hall and our office representative will be waiting you with Nepal Excursion Treks display board in airport and you are welcomed by flower and process the way to hotel. In case of flight is arrived in morning and have more spare time then we will discuss about the possibility of the short side tour in Kathmandu (D)
Fly to Lukla
(2840 m, 25 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2610 m, 3-4 hrs),morning we drive to domestic airport for the flight to Lukla and take the adventure flight that offers amazing view of snow capped peaks including Mt. Everest and then we continue our day to Phakding through small villages passing several Buddhist monuments of mane wall, monasteries and stupas. Mt. Kongde (6086 m) and Mt. Kusum Kangaroo (6370 m) just admire your start of the trek. (B, L, D)
Trek to Namche Bazar
(3440 m, 6-7 hrs), after the breakfast we begin our trail on the side of Dudh Koshi River through villages Tok Tok, Benkar, Monjo, Jorsalle ,we continued our day to one of the biggest Sherpa town Namche Bazar which is considered as the one of the demanding day of the trek that offer you nice view of Thamserku (6618 m) and first view of Mt. Everest (8848 m) during trek. Once you are in Namche Bazar you can see the Kongde Peak staying just opposite of the valley.(B, L, D)
Acclimatization day
at Namche Bazar, excursion to the Everest View Point, visit to the Khumjung village, monasteries, Everest national park museum,this day we will be walking to Everest View Point hotel and take the side trip excursion which is one of the fascinating day with the view of massive snow capped peaks and Mt. Everest. Interested may visit Khumjung village, monastery, Sherpa Cultural Museum and National Park Museum to know more about the Sherpa culture, flora fauna and information of several stunning peaks that are staying in chain of the word highest peak Mt. Trek to Tengboche
(3865 m, 5-6 hrs), as usual we continue our trail to Tengboche after breakfast and the day is very admiring with nice view of Thamserku , Mt. Ama Dablam (6812 m) , Mt. Lhoste Lhar (8382 m), Mt. Lhoste (8516 m), Mt. Nuptse (7864 m) and Mt. Everest. Tengboche its self is located in very scenic and of the biggest monastery of Khumbu Region. Interested may be go and visit the monastery and see the monks praying (B, L, D)
Trek to Dingboche
(4410 m, 5-6 hrs),this day trail is gradual down and up with closer view of Ama Dablam and altitude can make you fee slightly demanding however the views everyday as you go higher and higher mountains are closer and closer and you will find your every step of trek is worth to be there. many of these peaks which you can see on the previous days are seen still and few of them are closer. In addition of the other peaks apart from Kongde and Kusm Kangaroo you will see Amphulapchha (5663 m) Island Peak (6819 m), Peak 38 (7591 m) from Dingboche however Mt. Everest is hidden still many of the peaks are staying around (B, L, D)
Acclimatization day
at Dingboche, excursion to Chukung Valley (4730 m) and back or hike to Nagarjun Danda,this day you have an option either to take the steep hike to Nagarjun Danda (5300 m) or the hike to Chukung Valley (4730 m) that is just amazing and staying just on lap of Island Peak with surrounding views of massive snow capped peaks. On the way to Chukung you can the the monuments of very famous polish climber Kukuczka. (5300 m) (B, L, D)
Trek to Lobuche
(4910 m, 5-6 hrs),this day you will have view of Mt. Makalu(8485 m) in addition to other mountains that you see from Dingboche.Tabuche Peak (6495 m) and Cholaste Peak (6335 m) peak welcome your start of the day that are staying just on the next side of your trail while you are on the trail towards Thukla. After Thukla the trail is quite steep up until Thukla Pass (4830 m) where you can see the memorials of many climbers from the world and is scenic view point too. Lobuche Peak (6090 m) is seen closer while heading towards lobuche from Thukla pass.(B, L, D)
Trek to Gorakhshep
(5160 m, 3-4 hrs) after lunch side trip to Everest Base Camp (5360 m, 4-5 hrs), this day is considered as the most demanding day due to higher level of altitude and our trail goes through glacier most of the time, however the final destination of Everest Base Camp is achieved on this day. Views on the way and from Gorakshep are great and we can see the Khumbu Himalaya close staying in a chain.(B, L, D)
Hike to Kalapattar
(5550 m, 4-5 hrs) and descend to Lobuche (4910 m, 2-3 hrs),we hike to Kalapattar the most scenic view point of this trip from where you can see the snow capped peaks are staying surroundings in lap of Mt. Pumori (7165 m), the hike to Kalapattar is very demanding but the admiring view just make this trip for a life time. After spending some time and pictures at Kalapattar we then start our trail to descend Lobuche keeping the amazing memories.(B, L, D)
Trek to Pangboche
(4000 m, 4-5 hrs),now the most of the part of our trail are down hills however some short parts are up hills too which is the main character of Nepal Himalaya trail is. This day we have easier descending to Pangboche and after we the day is completed we may visit to Upper Pangboche and the oldest monastery of Khumbu (B, L, D)
Trek to Kyangjuma
(3600 m, 4-5 hrs),our trail start with gradual descending to Dudh Koshi River bridge after a while of crossing bridge then we will take the gradual trail till Debuche and from Dibuche trail is going to uphill and after Tengboche a steep descend to Phungi Thanga and from there steep up and gradual to Kyangjuma. It’s a nice place to take a stop before saying good bye to all these incredible views and scenery (B, L, D)
Trek to Monjo
(2800 m, 4-5 hrs),gradual trail to Namche Bazaar and from there till mostly steep and short gradual till Jorsalle village, once we cross the bridge and walk for some time then we have to take steep uphill till Everest National Park Check post and after the check post the next town in Monjo (B, L, D)
Trek to Lukla
(2840 m, 5-6 hrs),the last day of the trek having mostly gradual trail with some parts up and down. Once we are about 45 minutes away from Lukla then our trail is steep what can make you little tired after so many days of trek in Himalaya.(B, L, D)
Fly back to Kathmandu,
free afternoon for rest or shopping, depending on the time of your flight we will check in lukla airport before an hour of flight time however the time of flight depends on whether. Our representative will let you know the approx time to be in Lukla airport and the short fly to Kathmandu is the end of Everest Base Camp trek and the start of next part of trip sightseeing in Kathmandu (B)

Guided sightseeing tour
in the UNESCO world heritage sites- Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square (B)
The interesting and historical both cities Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar Square have ancient palaces built with antique carving and many Hindus temples are staying surrounding. During your sightseeing here you can also see the typical Newari culture. There is a pottery square in Bhaktapur and we can see how the household clay pots are prepared. Patan is more popular for producing antique handcraft products and metal statues. Both cities Bhaktapur and Patan are less crowded city than Kathmandu.
