Trekking in the Kali Gandaki valley
Views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains
The Kaligandaki Valley Trek is one of the most popular treks in the Annapurna Region which offers mountain scenery and landscapes. This trip offers you a stunning view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains, including a few other peaks, a beautiful sunrise, a wide range of landscapes from subtropical to desert like the Tibetan Plateau. You will be on the trek after an hour and fifteen minutes of drive from Pokhara.
We will be led by the Kaligandaki River
Hot springs, a gorge, monasteries and people
Even beginner trekkers can manage this trip which offers them a lot to see. For a few days the trail leads along the Kaligandaki River flowing in the world's deepest gorge. The natural hot springs in Tatopani, nice villages of the Gurung, Magar and Thakali people, monasteries, and Muktinath – one of the most famous Hindu temples of Nepal, make this trek even more attractive. With regard to road construction, this trek is not as busy as it used to be in the past but it is still popular among trekkers.
