Around Valley Trek

Trek near Kathmandu

The Around Valley Trek is very close from Kathmandu. It is a good option for travellers who have no time to be in the high Himalayas but want to experience the mountains. It is one of the easy grade treks of Nepal offering you beautiful landscapes of Nepal and the eastern part of the Nepalese Himalayas Range. The trek starts from Kathmandu with a forty-five-minute drive to Sundari Jal.

Shiva Puri National Park

See the daily life of the people of Nepal

Most of the trail continues through the Shiva Puri National Park and small villages. During the trek you can also observe the daily life of the local people. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset from Chisapani and Nagarkot, too. While walking through the national park, it is possible to see some wild animals like wild boars, deer, monkeys, jackals etc. It is the only way to experience the trek in Nepal without getting too high and still see beautiful scenery of the Himalayas, the landscapes and explore the culture.
