Region Langtang

Rhododendron flowering in spring and Gurung settlements

The Langtang Valley Trek is the third most popular trek in Nepal. Langtang region is situated in the north-eastern part of Nepal. This trek has nice scenery of landscapes and offers a beautiful view of the mountains though you cannot see them very close like from the Annapurna and Everest Region. It is one of the easier treks in Nepal leading you close to the Buddhist culture and the lifestyle of Tamang tribes of Nepal.

Nepal place for active people

Sightseeing, trips, climbing, history

Nepal is a very popular country for adventure trekking, climbing, expeditions, rafting, and jungle safari, cultural and historical tours. Every trek and every trip offer a new experience in your life. Especially, the Langtang Valley Trek is considered a culture trekking with an amazing view of the mountains though they seem to be quite far. A massive earthquake of 25 April 2015 vastly destroyed this region though it has been already rebuilt

13 days in Nepalu

An easy trek for beginners

It is one of the shorter treks in Nepal. Even the beginner trekkers having no previous hiking experience can manage this trip without getting worried about high altitude sickness.
The trail continues between high hills, forests and villages. In Kanjin Gompa there is a cheese factory and the cheeses produced here are very popular in Nepal.
